Musings of a convenient Vegan...

I am not sure what to call myself. I try hard to eat 100% Vegan. Sometimes without knowing it, I eat (yuck) something from an animal!!!! I went a function last night and ate I spoonful of grits. They tasted funny...I asked was there milk in them....they said yes..lesson:

Ask before you eat!!!!!

Go home then.....

So....i'm at his house.  I had a gig last night got back at almost 4 am so I stayed at his place.  I brought my tea I drink and I want to heat it up.  I say do you have a pot?  He says can you heat it in the microwave?  I says I'm trying not to use the microwave.....if you have a pot I will get it and clean it and put it back.  He says....well sounds like you need to go home then.  Made me feel bad for a second....but I love myself and i  can handle it......he can be such a bear :(

Veganism and being natural

i have been a vegan for over a month now....and i have been natural for one year. I love being naturally vegan! Since I have been vegan, I have lost 15 lbs. I have energy on top of energy and I feel great about myself! So what about learning love? I am learning so much about myself and alot about learning to love myself.....loving myself naturally

Au Natural.......

I have cut off all of my hair and I am officially natural, chem free. Why did I do it? I have not had a relaxer since Feb. and my hairdresser would not perm me and I started to play with my natural hair....I liked it. So I decided to go ahead and try it out. I read somewhere that everyone should try out their natural hair at least once in their lives. I am 37 and turning 38 on October 18th, so I figured, why not. I am not sure if I like it yet....the verdict is still out. I am going to work with it for the next two weeks and see how it does for me. I will post a pic soon, though I don't think anyone is following my blog, maybe I will post the pic for me. Yeah, learning to love me.

Bump it

when i was in high school, that was the saying, "bump it". yeah, i know, makes no sense, but hey, bump it...i am no longer focusing on love.. it is what it is and ain't what it ain't...bump it. i will have to just come back here every once in a while and really try my hand at blogging, because i am no good at it, and since no one is reading this anyway...bump it. (lol) i am laughing to myself. well, i am going to end this now, and just, well, just nothing.
